The Nature Culture Fellowship (NCF) invites changemakers, artists, and conservationists to join a unique international learning journey grounded in mutual respect, care, and imagination. This fellowship encourages participants to not only reflect on their place within the web of life, but to also take part in the collective work of reimagining the systems that shape society today. At its essence, the program is about building new stories—ones rooted in belonging, creativity, ancestral knowledge, and social repair.

The experience begins with a three-month online exploration from May to July 2025, offering participants the space to engage in weekly sessions that blend storytelling, cultural reflection, embodied learning, and connection with the natural world. These gatherings will take place every Friday starting on May 23, 2025, at 14:30 UTC, and will bring together participants from diverse backgrounds and geographies to reflect on identity, place, community, and ecological grief.

Following the online sessions, a select group will receive financial support to launch culturally meaningful projects in their own communities. Between August and December 2025, these fellows will implement initiatives that interweave traditional practices, creative expression, and intergenerational learning, all grounded in regenerative values and bold visions for the future.

This fellowship welcomes individuals who are deeply connected to their communities and ready to step into creative leadership rooted in humility, reciprocity, and cultural transformation. Those who join should be willing to examine dominant systems, explore unlearning, and hold space for uncertainty as a source of growth. It’s a journey for people who see cultural narratives not as background noise but as tools for real, systemic change.

Rather than focusing on policy or technical fixes, the program prioritizes relationship-building, creative experimentation, and traditional knowledge. Participants will explore how rituals, music, storytelling, and art can serve as vessels for healing, imagination, and shared action. It’s an invitation to co-create new ways of being and belonging—personally and collectively.

Those drawn to this program often carry a deep curiosity about the emotional and cultural dimensions of today’s ecological challenges. They believe that shifting hearts and stories is just as vital as shifting laws and systems. They seek to reconnect the personal and the planetary, the spiritual and the social, the ancestral and the emergent.

Applications are now open for both parts of the program: the immersive online learning experience and the community-based project phase. Whether someone is called to participate in the learning journey alone or both components, this is a chance to grow alongside a vibrant, values-aligned cohort dedicated to re-rooting change in community, creativity, and care.
