The fellowship offers a full-time position with a salary determined by Danish collective union agreements, based on the applicant’s seniority. Additional support includes one-way travel expenses to Aarhus, visa and work permit application fees, and relocation assistance. Fellows are provided with office space, access to AIAS facilities, and participation in academic training activities, conferences, and workshops at AIAS and Aarhus University. A limited research budget is available for projects requiring data collection, subject to prior approval.

Applicants must hold a PhD and have between 2 and 10 years of postdoctoral experience by the application deadline. The fellowship is open to researchers from all disciplines and nationalities. A mobility requirement applies: applicants must not have resided or carried out their main work activity in Denmark for more than 12 months in the two years immediately prior to the application deadline. Additionally, applicants should have an interdisciplinary research project and/or interest and potential collaboration opportunities at Aarhus University.
