The European Academy of Diplomacy (EAD) has opened applications for the 2026 edition of the Academy of Young Diplomats, an annual program designed for emerging leaders who want to deepen their understanding of diplomacy and international affairs.

As the first independent, non-profit diplomatic academy in Europe, EAD has spent more than two decades preparing the next generation of global professionals. Since 2004, the Academy has welcomed over 5,500 participants from more than 75 countries, offering specialized training at graduate, post-graduate and executive levels. Its programs are widely recognized for their practical teaching approach, international faculty and the participation of seasoned diplomats, policymakers, and experts from around the world.

Based in Poland — a country shaped by its own experience of democratic transition and active foreign policy — EAD builds its work on values of cooperation, responsibility and dialogue. These principles guide the Academy’s commitment to nurturing diplomats, civil servants, social leaders, business representatives, academics and young professionals who are ready to tackle the complex challenges of an evolving global landscape.

The Academy of Young Diplomats 2026 offers participants a chance to strengthen their diplomatic skills, take part in hands-on workshops, and join a vibrant international network of peers and mentors. Those selected will gain first-hand exposure to current issues in international relations and the realities of diplomatic work.
