The programme is delivered through the timbuktoo Africa Creatives Hub, which focuses on strengthening Africa’s creative industries by providing mentorship, training, and professional exposure for young talents.

This opportunity targets aspiring and early-career animators interested in expanding their skills in 2D, 3D, and hybrid animation techniques while building meaningful connections within the animation industry.

About the Programme

The Independent Animators Capacity Building Programme aims to equip participants with both creative and professional skills required to grow in the animation sector. Selected participants will take part in structured learning sessions, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative activities designed to strengthen their technical abilities and storytelling skills.

Participants will also gain insights into the animation industry, helping them better position their work for professional opportunities, partnerships, and creative projects.
