In addition to professional experience, applicants must be citizens and residents of one of the eligible African countries specified by the programme. These countries include Botswana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
