A new continental storytelling initiative has opened applications for  passionate young climate leaders and grassroots innovators from Eastern and Southern Africa to take part in an upcoming documentary film titled “Not Done Yet.”

The project is supported by the Pan African Network for Climate Action (PANFCA), an award-winning youth-led movement advancing climate justice, sustainability, and policy advocacy across Africa.

About the Opportunity

A team of young documentary filmmakers will travel across Africa during the summer to capture powerful stories of youth-led climate action taking place on the front lines of climate change.

The film seeks to spotlight relatable, innovative, and courageous young people who are transforming their communities through environmental solutions and activism.

The documentary aims to reshape global climate narratives by telling stories created by young people, for young people, highlighting hope, resilience, and action.

About PANFCA

The Pan African Network for Climate Action (PANFCA) is a youth-led organization that has empowered more than 200,000 young Africans through leadership programs, climate advocacy campaigns, sustainability initiatives, and community mobilization efforts.

Its work spans climate justice, biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, gender equality, and the promotion of indigenous knowledge systems, positioning youth as central actors in Africa’s climate future.

Filming will take place during the upcoming summer road journey across Eastern and Southern Africa, with selected participants contacted directly by the documentary team.
