Apply for the African Union CIEFFA Online Capacity Building Training 2026
Applications are now open for the African Union CIEFFA Online Capacity Building Training 2026, a fully funded virtual learning programme organized by the African Union International Centre for Girls’ and Women’s Education in Africa (AU CIEFFA) in partnership with ImpactHER. The initiative is designed to strengthen digital, entrepreneurial, and financial skills while promoting gender equality in education across Africa.
Held under the theme "#AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship," the programme targets women and men from all 55 African Union Member States and members of the African Diaspora who are eager to develop practical skills that support personal, professional, and community development.
Since its launch, the programme has certified more than 12,500 participants from 55 African countries and 34 countries outside Africa, helping young people gain knowledge and tools to thrive in an increasingly digital economy.
Training will be delivered online in English, French, and Portuguese, with participants joining one-month learning cohorts beginning 31 August 2026. Applicants can choose to participate during the September, October, or November training sessions.
