Applications are now open for the Global Climate, Environment & Sustainability Consulting Professional Program 2026, a free, highly competitive virtual training programme designed to prepare professionals for careers in climate, environmental, and sustainability consulting.

Organized by GICI under the Green Finance Hub, the 24-month programme provides intensive, practice-based training for individuals seeking to support governments, businesses, development organizations, and communities in advancing sustainability and climate action. Rather than serving as an introductory course, the programme emphasizes real-world consulting experience, practical assignments, and institutional transformation.

Participants will develop the technical knowledge and professional skills needed to advise organizations on climate strategy, environmental management, ESG integration, sustainable finance, climate risk, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability implementation.

Selection Process

Admission to the programme is highly competitive, with only a limited number of participants selected.

Applications will be evaluated based on several criteria, including the quality of the applicant’s proposal, which accounts for a significant portion of the overall selection process.

Participants may also be encouraged to pursue at least one internationally recognized certification in climate, environmental management, or sustainability during the programme.
