Applications are now open for the GROWTH@IRENA Training Programme 2026, an in-person capacity-building initiative organized by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). The programme is designed for students and young professionals who want to strengthen their knowledge of renewable energy and contribute to the global transition toward sustainable energy systems.

Scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from 10–13 August 2026, the programme offers participants an opportunity to gain practical insights into renewable energy technologies, policy development, data analysis, and international collaboration while connecting with like-minded peers from around the world.

Programme Overview

The GROWTH@IRENA Training Programme equips emerging energy professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to support the global energy transition. Through expert-led sessions and interactive learning, participants will explore key aspects of renewable energy and sustainable development.
