Call for Applications: Climate Change Adaptation Skills Empowerment Program in Tanzania
Young people aged 18 to 35 who are based in Dodoma, Tanzania, are invited to apply for the Climate Change Adaptation Skills Empowerment Program, a six-month initiative designed to equip young people with practical knowledge and skills to develop and implement solutions to climate change adaptation.
The program is organized by Call for Environmental Conservation Organization (CFEC) through the GreenZ Adaptation Lab, in collaboration with the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). It will provide participants with an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of climate change adaptation while developing practical solutions that can contribute to addressing climate-related challenges in their communities.
As part of the program, participants will develop climate change adaptation solutions based on the knowledge and skills gained during the training. The three best solutions submitted by participants will be selected to receive seed funding to support the implementation and scaling of their initiatives.
The program is open to young people aged 18–35 who are currently based in Dodoma, Tanzania and have an interest in climate action, environmental conservation, and developing practical solutions to climate change challenges.
