FULLY FUNDED : Apply for the 2027 Fellowship For Change Program – Qichuang Elite Program
Applications are open for the 2027 Fellowship For Change (FFC) Program, also known as the Qichuang Elite Program, a year-long fellowship designed for high school students who are interested in turning their ideas and concerns about social and environmental challenges into meaningful action.
The programme brings together motivated students for a year of learning, mentorship, collaboration and practical action. Fellows will develop new skills and perspectives while working with experienced mentors, professors and practitioners and connecting with peers who are equally passionate about creating positive change.
About the Fellowship For Change Program
The Fellowship For Change is a one-year programme running from August 2027 to August 2028. It is designed to help young people move beyond simply learning about social and environmental issues and begin developing practical solutions to problems they care about.
Throughout the fellowship, participants will take part in three in-person Learning Summits, monthly mentor meetings and online learning sessions. The programme provides an opportunity to explore an issue that matters to each participant, develop an idea and take steps towards creating change in their community and beyond.
The programme is primarily open to students in China who will enter Grade 10, Grade 11 or Grade 12 in September 2027.
Full Scholarship
The Fellowship For Change is offered as a full scholarship programme.
Each selected Fellow will receive financial support covering the costs associated with the Learning Summits and accommodation. Participants are therefore expected to commit to attending all three in-person Learning Summits throughout the programme.
Programme Commitment
The Fellowship For Change runs for one year, from August 2027 to August 2028.
During the programme, Fellows will participate in:
- Three in-person Learning Summits;
- Monthly mentor meetings lasting approximately 1–2 hours;
- Online courses and learning sessions; and
- Activities focused on developing ideas and taking practical action.
Applicants must be able to commit to attending all three Learning Summits.

- The programme is particularly suited to students who have a problem or issue they genuinely care about and are interested in exploring how they can contribute to addressing it.
