Fully Funded to USA : Apply for the Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship Program

Applications for full-time, six- to nine-month fellowships in Washington, DC, are being accepted from recent undergraduate and graduate school graduates through the Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship Programme.

The fellowship seeks to enable recently graduated college students to engage with nonprofit, public-interest organisations that address peace and security issues in order to gain practical knowledge and skills. Exceptional persons will be selected to work with nonprofit, public-interest organisations that address issues related to peace and security. We encourage candidates who have a strong interest in these areas and a history of lobbying or public benefit work to apply.

A personal essay, academic transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and details regarding the semester being applied for are all required throughout the application process. A list of five to six collaborating organisations is also included in the application, which you can work with if you are chosen to be a Scoville Fellow. Finding out if these organisations can accommodate a colleague is the aim.

The application deadlines for the Fall 2024 Fellowship and Spring 2025 Fellowship are January 16, 2024, and October 7, 2024, respectively.
