Applications are open for the 2024–2025 Global Advocacy Champions Network
Our network of 2024–2025 Global Advocacy Champions is currently accepting applications. In order to engage in high-level lobbying and bring the voices of girls and young women to decision-makers at events like the United Nations 69th Commission on the Status of Women, this group of young women will externally represent WAGGGS and their national Girl Guiding or Girl Scouting organisation.
Applications to join the Global Advocacy Champions network are open to any Girl Guide or Girl Scout who is between the ages of 18 and 30. Global Advocacy Champions are chosen based on their dedication to gender equality, their participation in Girl Scouting and Guiding, and their capacity for leadership, challenge, and impact.
Global Advocacy Champions have fantastic chances to influence people in positions of authority and improve personally.
Prospects for Champions
A variety of chances for leadership and personal development will be provided to chosen Champions, including:
Advocacy Projects: Take part in worthwhile initiatives that will raise awareness of the issues facing girls and young women around the world.
Leadership Experience: Gain expertise through top-notch training and development courses, enabling them to exert influence and lead.
Global Representation: Serve as WAGGGS's official representatives, speaking to world leaders about the struggles and experiences of young women.
Don't miss out on the application deadline which is Friday, November 15, 2024.
