Apply for the 2nd International Conference on Human-Wildlife Conflict and Coexistence Travel Grants 2027 in Thailand
Travel grant applications are now open for the 2nd International Conference on Human-Wildlife Conflict and Coexistence, giving students, researchers, conservation professionals and other eligible participants an opportunity to receive financial support to attend the international conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
The conference will take place from 2–4 March 2027 and will bring together people working on human-wildlife conflict, conservation and coexistence. A limited number of travel grants are available to help participants who may face financial barriers to attending.
Priority will be given to applicants from countries that are not classified as high-income by the World Bank, students from any country, and individuals contributing to the conference programme.
About the Travel Grants
The travel grants are intended to make participation in the conference more accessible to people who may otherwise struggle to cover the costs of attending.
Applicants do not need to have registered for the conference before submitting a travel grant application. However, meeting one or more of the priority criteria can strengthen an application.
Because funding is limited, submitting an application does not guarantee that financial support will be awarded.
Applicants are encouraged to clearly demonstrate their circumstances, student status where applicable, and involvement in the conference programme.
The deadline to apply for the Human-Wildlife Conflict and Coexistence Conference Travel Grants is 31 October 2026 at 23:59 GMT
Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 15 November 2026.
