Apply for the AEYN Mentorship Program 2026 for Young Climate Leaders in Asia
Applications are now open for the ninth cohort of the AEYN Mentorship Program, a two-month initiative designed to connect young people interested in climate and environmental action with experienced sustainability professionals across Asia.
The program creates opportunities for students and recent graduates to receive personalized guidance, expand their professional networks, and gain practical insights into careers in sustainability and climate-related fields.
Running from 3 October to 29 November 2026, the mentorship program combines one-on-one coaching, networking opportunities, career development workshops, and skill-building sessions to help participants strengthen their academic, professional, and advocacy journeys.

Mentee Experience
Selected mentees will:
- Participate in an orientation session
- Attend three one-on-one mentoring meetings
- Complete a small professional development project
- Take part in optional networking and training activities
- Receive a certificate upon successful completion
Examples of projects may include:
- Developing a professional résumé
- Preparing a cover letter
- Exploring career pathways in sustainability
- Building a professional portfolio
Mentor Experience
Mentors will:
- Participate in a 45-minute training session
- Guide mentees through three personalized coaching sessions
- Receive mentoring resources and support
- Join a network of sustainability professionals from across Asia
Mentors selected for the program will also receive an honorarium supported by the Youth Justice Climate Fund.

This year's cohort will also introduce a 20-minute interview process for shortlisted mentors and mentees before final selection.
Mentors
Mentees
Mentees are expected to participate in an introductory training session and three 1:1 meetings and complete a small individual project during the two months.
Mentors
Mentors will undergo a 45-minute pre-training and organize and guide three 1:1 meetings with their mentee(s). They also receive access to resources to help prepare.

- Be between 14 and 27 years old
- Be students, recent graduates, or individuals with 0–3 years of full-time work experience
