The program is designed to support educators and practitioners who are rethinking how young people can develop agency, well-being, and critical awareness in an always-connected digital world.

Fellowship Theme: Educating for Digital Agency

The 2026–2027 cohort will focus on advancing approaches that strengthen young people’s ability to navigate digital environments with confidence, empathy, and curiosity. As technologies such as generative AI and algorithm-driven platforms reshape daily life, the fellowship seeks projects that center youth voices while promoting balanced, agency-driven digital literacy.

  • Information Session: February 20, 2026 (1 PM ET)

  • Letter of Interest Deadline: March 9, 2026 (11:59 PM PT)

  • Final Decisions Announced: June 30, 2026

  • Youth-centered digital literacy curricula

  • Research on digital well-being

  • Creative storytelling or media initiatives

  • Tools or applications promoting mindful technology use
