Apply for the Elevate Africa Fellowship 2026 for mid-career professionals (Second cohort)
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Elevate Africa Fellowship, which is welcoming candidates for its second intake. This intensive ten-month blended leadership journey targets exceptional mid-career professionals who bring a decade or more of meaningful experience and who are dedicated to influencing Africa’s progress across diverse fields.
Applicants should have at least ten years of proven professional experience with clear evidence of impact, a strong record of leadership, and a demonstrated commitment to pan-African ideals. Participants must also have dependable internet access and be fully available to engage with all programme activities throughout the duration.
Those selected will gain access to guided mentorship from accomplished African leaders, become part of a vibrant continent-wide network of professionals, and take part in thoughtfully designed learning experiences that deepen leadership insight and practical skills.
The fellowship begins with a virtual orientation in March 2026 and continues through November 2026, requiring consistent engagement in training sessions, coaching and mentoring activities, a capstone project, and knowledge-sharing contributions. Fellows are also expected to join three face-to-face residencies scheduled for May in Kigali, August in Nigeria, and another session planned for late October or early November at a location to be confirmed. Participants will be responsible for covering their own travel costs for these gatherings, although a small number of financial support opportunities may be offered. Active participation within the cohort and ongoing involvement in the alumni community are also central to the experience.
