Apply for the Environment & Peace support for environmental organisations

Environmental organisations working in West and Central Africa are invited to apply for the Environment & Peace Support Call for Proposals, an initiative led by PeaceNexus. The programme is designed to strengthen organisations operating in fragile, conflict-affected, or high-risk contexts by helping them integrate conflict-sensitive approaches into their environmental work.

This opportunity is not a traditional project grant. Instead, it focuses on building organisational capacity to ensure environmental initiatives contribute to peace, social cohesion, and sustainable development rather than unintentionally increasing tensions.

Geographic Scope

The call is open to local, national, and regional organisations operating in West and Central Africa.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 16 February 2026 (11:59 PM CET)
