Apply for the Erase Indifference Challenge 2024

The Erase Indifference Challenge, which originated as an initiative at the Auschwitz Pledge Foundation, is an innovation engine designed to identify and provide funding for cutting-edge, creative, and quantifiable projects that will eventually result in tangible actions, the abolition of indifference, the rise of empathy, and the acceptance and celebration of differences.

Entries utilizing technology, pop culture approaches, gamification, socialization and cooperation strategies, data and research, social experiments, and/or instructional tools are encouraged. Ideas that fall into one of the following categories and appeal to younger audiences really pique their interest:

Racism, anti-semitism, anti-immigration & xenophobia, and misogyny are prevalent issues in society.

The application must be submitted in English, as this is an international challenge requiring participants to be proficient in speaking and writing English at least on a communicative level.

Program Benefits
Grants of up to €30,000 are offered to the three winning initiatives that show the most promise of making a significant change in the world and addressing at least one of the aforementioned types of apathy. Additionally, physical, formal, and legal help tailored to the winners' requirements and projects will be given.
Eligibility Criteria
- The program is directed for non-governmental organizations, startups, corporations, public institutions, religious associations, or informal groupings from around the globe that are supported by an umbrella organization to handle the formal parts of project implementation.

- They are unable to accept some entity groups into the Challenge, though. Applications that are funded by or associated with political organizations are not eligible, nor are those that are conducting (or have previously undertaken) programs or actions that conflict with the Auschwitz Pledge Foundation's goal.
