The programme aims to cultivate the next generation of visionary leaders committed to shaping a more just, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable world.

This initiative places students—often viewed as the innovators and leaders of the future—at its core. By equipping them with critical tools, practical insights, and a strong sense of purpose, the programme prepares them to drive real-world change aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It’s more than just a leadership course; it’s a launchpad where ideas turn into actions with far-reaching impact.

The overarching mission of the programme is to build a network of 10 million socially conscious leaders by 2030, by embedding sustainable development values across over 5,000 higher education institutions in Africa. Campuses are transformed into creative spaces for solution-driven projects that not only educate but also generate meaningful change in local communities.

Participants are nurtured and supported to become grounded, visionary leaders. Through a combination of learning, mentoring, and hands-on project implementation, they become change agents who inspire others and multiply the reach of the SDGs across educational institutions and beyond.

The programme envisions a lasting legacy—where each ambassador contributes to a ripple effect of progress that spans borders and generations.

• The programme will be conducted entirely in English. Applications submitted in other languages will not be considered.
• Successful applicants will begin the 10-week training in July 2025.
