Programme Objectives
The Fellows@EMR programme aims to:
- Provide a platform for young professionals from various academic fields to develop their skills through hands-on assignments.
- Offer fellows the opportunity to engage directly with WHO’s initiatives, contributing under the guidance of seasoned experts.
Key Responsibilities
As a fellow, you will be tasked with a project that aligns with both your expertise and the programme’s goals. Your duties may involve:
- Conducting literature reviews and surveys
- Performing web-based research and analyzing data
- Assisting in organizing workshops, meetings, and events
- Drafting and revising policy briefs, toolkits, and reports
- Engaging in ongoing departmental projects

Additional Information
- Education: A postgraduate degree in public health, social sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in research, report writing, or fieldwork. Familiarity with data analysis and statistical tools is a plus.
- Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or French is advantageous.
- Core Competencies: Candidates should exhibit teamwork, respect for cultural diversity, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
