Apply for Young Leaders Training Programme 2025

Applications are now open for the Young Leaders Training Programme to strengthen the political participation of young men and women involved in civil society, trade unions and political parties in Cameroon and to promote the values of social democracy, in particular freedom, justice and solidarity.

In Yaoundé, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung has been educating young, active citizens. Initially as a regional program, it has been concentrating on Cameroonian participants since 2018. 25 young men and women are needed to participate in 8 sessions of 2-day training (Thursday to Friday) at the end of each month from March to October. In-person or over Zoom, they will discuss a range of topics pertaining to the principles of political leadership, communication, and operational management tools.

Eligibility Criteria

be between the ages of 18 and 35 while submitting an application.
Live in Cameroon
Be available to attend every program session.
At the time of application, possess a university degree or be working towards a first degree.
Participate in civic society activities and be politically involved.
Participate in a project or initiative and/or be active in a political party, trade union, or civic society.
