Youth4HarmonyHack Initiative: Cultivating a Culture of Peace
Join the Youth Engagement and Empowerment Programme (YEEP) Africa Alumni, in partnership with UNOCT/UNCCT, UNESCO East Africa, NCTC Kenya, NCTC-ONSA Nigeria, and TUBSAN Somalia, in celebrating International Day of Peace!
*Eligibility*
- Ages 18-30
- Residents of Nigeria, Kenya, or Somalia
- Individual or team participation (up to 2 members)
Content Creation Guidelines
- Original content related to "Cultivating a Culture of Peace"
- Various formats: posts, reels, articles, pictures, vlogs, blogs, etc.
- Upload content to social media during the competition period
- Use hashtag #Youth4HarmonyHack and tag organizing agencies
- Content can be in English, Swahili, Somali, or Arabic
*Judging Criteria*
- Creativity
- Originality
- Relevance to theme
- Impact and engagement
- Virality (likes, shares, comments)
*Prizes*
- Three winners per country receive hampers
- First-place winners attend a fully funded international training/conference
*Participation*
1. Register by September 28, 2024, 11:59 pm Nairobi Time
2. Attend online orientation session on September 30, 2024
3. Competition runs from October 1-15, 2024
