The 2025 GWNET Women in Clean Cooking Mentorship Program is currently accepting applications. The "Women in Clean Cooking" (WICC) mentorship program will assist women working in the clean cooking industry by 2025, with advantages such as:
gaining knowledge from seasoned energy industry specialists; acquiring career-boosting activities to help achieve specific objectives; advancing both professional and personal growth; and encouraging creative thinking and strategic thinking.
Additionally, the mentorship program is built around the following guidelines:
Opportunities for virtual networking at global energy and/or renewables conferences.
regional emphasis on professionals in their early to mid-career stages in Haiti, Asia, and Africa;
11 months of reciprocal engagement between mentors and mentees along predetermined professional development goals;
careful matching and ongoing assistance from the GWNET Secretariat, in conjunction with SEforALL and CCA;
a number of specially designed webinars for knowledge transfer that are based on the needs identified by the cohort of mentees;
components for developing professional communication and leadership skills;

Additional Information
A person must be a citizen of Africa, Asia, or Haiti and employed in any of these nations.
A woman working in clean cooking must be dedicated to gender equality and women's empowerment, and she must have a strong personal interest in helping to accomplish Sustainable Development Goals 5 and 7 by encouraging other women to participate in the process.
must have two to ten years of work experience and be employed in an early to mid-career role.
