Be part of the Youth Consultation on Climate Change 2026

Applications are now open for young people worldwide to take part in a global climate dialogue organized by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth in collaboration with the Ford Foundation.

This initiative, titled “A Youth Vision for the World’s Future,” aims to gather insights from young people on climate change and channel their perspectives into global policy discussions shaping the final years of the 2030 Agenda.

Format: Regional virtual consultations

About the Initiative

The consultations are designed to move beyond traditional dialogue by ensuring that youth voices are not only heard but actively integrated into high-level decision-making processes. Participants will contribute ideas, experiences, and solutions related to climate change, helping to define youth priorities at a global level.

The process emphasizes inclusivity and diversity, bringing together voices from different regions, sectors, and backgrounds.

Regional Consultation Schedule

Participants will join sessions based on their region:

  • Africa: April 9, 2026 – 7:00 AM UTC

  • Europe: April 16, 2026 – 12:00 PM UTC

  • Asia-Pacific: April 23, 2026 – 6:00 AM UTC

  • Americas: April 28, 2026 – 4:00 PM UTC

Applicants are encouraged to confirm their availability based on their local time zones.
