Becoming a member of the Global Shapers Kampala Hub offers a unique opportunity to be part of a prestigious international community backed by the World Economic Forum. Members gain access to a platform that connects them with like-minded young leaders globally while also amplifying their capacity to design and implement impactful projects at the local level. It also provides personal development opportunities through collaboration, mentorship, leadership exposure, and participation in initiatives that address critical societal challenges. Ultimately, members become part of a network that values action, dialogue, and change-making at both grassroots and global levels.

To qualify for membership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 27 years old and must currently be residents of Kampala. Candidates should demonstrate strong potential for social change and ideally have a verifiable track record of results from previous initiatives. They must be committed to working with Global Shapers on both local and global projects while also showing readiness to dedicate at least three hours per week to hub activities. Furthermore, members are expected to actively uphold and support the diversity and inclusivity values of the hub.
