Zero Waste e.V. is looking for a motivated Working Student to support its exciting “Ask for Reusable – Pizza Edition” project in Berlin!

About the Project

In partnership with the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district office, Zero Waste e.V. will continue its successful reusable pizza box initiative in 2026.

The mission? Reduce packaging waste by encouraging pizzerias across the district to adopt reusable pizza boxes instead of disposable ones.

Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Berlin

Your Responsibilities

• Visiting and approaching pizzerias directly across the district
• Explaining the reusable pizza project and legal requirements
• Distributing informational materials and answering questions
• Following up with interested businesses by phone
• Maintaining contact lists and documenting outreach activities
• Supporting the organization of public awareness and visibility events
• Assisting the project team with coordination and operations

✅ Requirements

• Enrolled at a university
• Available for approximately 10 hours per week
• Fluent in German and another language such as English, Turkish, Arabic or Italian
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Independent and proactive working style
• Interest in sustainability, zero waste and environmental protection
• Willingness to travel regularly within Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
