Applications are open for two communications positions with the Global Initiative for Nature, Grids and Renewables (GINGR) in Berlin, Germany. The initiative is looking for communications professionals who can help communicate the importance of a faster, fairer and more Nature- and People-Positive energy transition.

The opportunities are suited to communicators who are interested in renewable energy, electricity grids, biodiversity, climate action and sustainable development, with one position aimed at experienced professionals and another designed for a more junior communications profile.

About GINGR

The Global Initiative for Nature, Grids and Renewables (GINGR) brings together the fields of renewable energy, electricity grids, biodiversity and people.

The initiative is a joint effort of the Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). It works with governments, industry, civil society, financial institutions and experts to support the development of renewable energy and grid infrastructure that delivers positive outcomes for both nature and people.

GINGR's work recognises that the transition to renewable energy requires not only new generation capacity, but also appropriate infrastructure, stronger collaboration and approaches that consider environmental and social impacts.
