The Rome MED Youth Policy Lab 2023, with the theme "Navigating the Climate Crisis: Mediterranean Youth in Action," aims to empower young innovators in the Mediterranean region to develop and scale up policy ideas for addressing the climate crisis. Selected participants will work on actionable policies that will be shared with high-level policymakers and may be presented at COP28 in Dubai. The Lab offers exclusive access to webinars, workshops, and the Rome MED Dialogues 2023 event. This is an opportunity for young people to raise awareness about the climate crisis and advocate for more ambitious climate action.

Travel expenses (economy flights) and accommodation for up to three nights in Rome will be covered by the Rome MED Dialogues.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: between 21 and 35 years;
Coming from: North Africa1, Middle East2, or Europe3;
With at least a first university degree (B.A. or M.A.) or equivalent qualification;
A strong interest/expertise in climate crisis and Mediterranean climate cooperation;
Excellent command of English Language
