The Geneva Challenge of 2024 is currently accepting applications.
The 2024 Advancing Development Goals International Contest for Graduate Students seeks to solve the problems associated with young empowerment by showcasing creative and workable solutions.
The Graduate Institute launched the Advancing Development Goals Contest, an annual international competition for Master students, in 2014 with the kind support of Ambassador Jenö Staehelin. The contest's goal is to encourage reflection and innovation on development from diverse disciplinary and contextual perspectives.
Each year, a group of three to five enrolled master's students from all over the world collaborate in an interdisciplinary setting to address a particular international development problem. The participants are asked to contribute ideas that are theoretically sound and practical.
This year, five prizes will be distributed across continents, with finalist teams invited to Geneva for project showcases and awards in November 2024, based on UN Statistics list.
