Assisting UNCDF teams in executing their initiatives, the intern will examine small- to medium-sized agricultural enterprises' business models in Sub-Saharan Africa, compile case studies into a database, participate in UNCDF's Resilient Local Food Supply Alliance initiatives, generate publications, offer technical assistance to local governments and municipalities, create concept papers and project proposals, and support resource mobilisation initiatives.

The UNCDF Food System Focal Point and the LTF senior team will oversee the intern's work from home. Proficiency in the areas of agriculture, financing for the food system, and rural development are among the competencies. Another set of abilities is outstanding communication.

In order to support UNCDF teams in implementing their programmes, the intern will analyse small- and medium-sized agricultural enterprises' business models in Sub-Saharan countries, compile case studies into a database, participate in UNCDF activities in the Resilient Local Food Supply Alliance, produce publications, offer local governments and municipalities analytical support, create concept papers and project proposals, and support resource mobilisation efforts.

The intern will work from home and report to the senior staff of LTF and the UNCDF Food System Focal Point. Proficiency in the areas of agriculture, financing for the food system, and rural development are among the competencies.
