Applications are now open for youth-led and youth-focused climate organizations interested in becoming co-hosts and local partners for the 21st Conference of Youth (COY21), which will take place ahead of COP31.

Organized under YOUNGO, COY21 offers a major platform for young climate leaders, activists, and organizations to contribute to global climate discussions and youth engagement efforts.

The initiative is inviting eligible organizations from Türkiye and Australia to help support the planning and implementation of one of the world’s largest youth climate events.

About the Opportunity

Selected co-hosts will work closely with the international COY21 organizing team to strengthen youth participation, coordinate local engagement activities, and support event planning and outreach.

The program encourages collaboration, and organizations are welcome to apply as partnerships or coalitions.

Additional priority may be given to:

• Organizations working directly with children and young people
• Groups based in or actively operating within Antalya Province, Türkiye
• Youth-led climate and environmental organizations with strong community engagement experience

Responsibilities of Co-Hosts

Chosen organizations will contribute to several areas of event preparation and implementation, including:

• Supporting local coordination and logistics
• Mobilizing youth networks and stakeholders
• Assisting with outreach and communications
• Contributing to program planning and development
• Collaborating with global organizers throughout the preparation period
