The Max Thabiso Edkins Climate Ambassador Program is a six-month online initiative designed to foster youth climate leadership. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with peers, learn from World Bank experts, GYCN, Y2Y, and C4C Knowledge Partners, and take meaningful climate action both locally and globally.
The program offers a combination of technical training and hands-on activities, equipping ambassadors with a deep understanding of climate change and the challenges outlined in the World Bank Group Climate Change Action Plan.
Participants will also receive guidance on how to effectively communicate their new knowledge for maximum impact. By the end of the program, participants are expected to have attended a specified number of learning sessions and completed three concrete climate actions in their communities.
