*Instagram Reel Contest: Share Your Climate Story*
*Eligibility:* Young journalists aged 18-25 in Southeast Asia are invited to participate.
*Submission Deadline:* October 31st, 2024, at 11:59 pm (GMT +1)
*Contest Guidelines:*
*Theme:* Create an Instagram reel showcasing climate change's impact on your local community or initiatives addressing its effects.
*Tips:*
- Investigate and share local stories and voices
- Use data and interviews to support your narrative
- Explore topics like environmental changes, health impacts, social and economic effects, and adaptation efforts
*Content Format:*
- One video (up to 2 minutes long)
- Vertical format (9:16) with HD quality
- Submissions can be in local languages, but must include English subtitles
- Choose from documentary, interview-focused, narrative storytelling, explainer video, or field report formats
*Safety First:* Ensure your content creation does not put yourself or others at risk, socially or politically.
*Prizes:*
- All five finalists will participate in a 2-hour online workshop led by Emmy winner Pailin Wedel
- Finalists will receive a certificate of acknowledgement
- One overall winner will receive a $200 equipment voucher and have their winning story showcased across Dialogue Earth's social media platforms
