The 2025 Vital Voices Global Fellowship is an initiative designed to bring together women from a variety of professional backgrounds to strengthen their expertise, foster partnerships, and exchange innovative ideas. Spanning ten months, this immersive experience connects participants through two primary pathways—one focused on social enterprise and the other on leadership in governance—while also promoting interdisciplinary collaboration to drive lasting transformation.

This initiative seeks to elevate the efforts of women tackling critical global issues by providing platforms for meaningful partnerships and equipping them with essential resources to contribute toward international development goals. The program is structured to enhance leadership capacity, provide sector-specific training, encourage cross-disciplinary cooperation, and cultivate strategic networks to amplify their reach and effectiveness.

Participants will gain access to an intensive leadership curriculum tailored to their specific focus areas, with specialized learning tracks for entrepreneurs and public sector leaders. The fellowship encourages connections between professionals from different sectors to inspire systemic change and foster creative solutions. Those accepted will become part of a global network, gaining mentorship, peer support, and strategic alliances to further their initiatives and accelerate their impact. Additionally, fellows will be invited to an in-person event in the latter part of 2025 at a location to be determined, where they will deepen their knowledge, expand their networks, and explore new possibilities for collaboration. Upon fulfilling the program’s requirements, each participant will receive a certificate recognizing their successful completion.

To qualify, applicants must be women, fluent in English, and at least 18 years old when submitting their application. Eligible candidates should demonstrate a strong dedication to advancing global development through leadership, entrepreneurship, or public service. Those selected must commit to active participation and engagement with peers across various sectors. Each applicant must also satisfy specific eligibility requirements depending on their chosen track within the program.

All submissions must be completed by April 15, 2025. A follow-up conversation may be required for clarification purposes. Final notifications will be sent to all candidates by May 2025. Those interested are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.
