Fully Funded : Apply for the Changemaker Fellowship
By defending the land, the water, and Indigenous sovereignty, these Changemakers are answering a spiritual and cultural call to action and contributing all of their gifts to the creation of something bigger than themselves.
They think that their people will be able to create resilient, healthy futures by decolonizing and mending families and communities, protecting their rights and homelands, and creating model regenerative nations.
The NDN Collective's Fellowship program focuses on Indigenous leaders' Theory of Change Mapping, Education & Skill Building, Healing & Wellbeing, Mentorship and Coaching, and Network & Community Building. The Fellowship aims to help Indigenous leaders develop their vision and understanding of the world they want to create. Applicants must create their own Theory of Change, which encapsulates their philosophy for igniting change.
The fellowship also includes skill-building programs, such as revitalizing cultural practices and community engagement. Healing & Wellbeing is a priority for Indigenous leaders, who often take on the pain of their communities. Mentorship and coaching are essential for the development of strong Indigenous leaders, with participants engaging with a mentor at least four times per quarter. Network and community building is also crucial for Indigenous leaders to continue learning and creating social change.
