Contract Type: Fixed Term, P1 Grade
Purpose of the Role:
The Program Officer will provide crucial technical support for the coordination and successful implementation of projects and programs within the Private Sector Engagement Unit. This role involves monitoring progress, preparing reports, and assisting in strategic planning to drive impactful and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct follow-ups on project activities and assess progress according to strategic plans.
- Support Policy and Research Activities: Suggest new research areas and assist in generating reports.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Build relationships with mid-level stakeholders and support the promotion of the Private Sector Engagement Unit's work through presentations and materials.
- Budget and Planning Support: Assist with the preparation of work plans, budgets, and other project-related documents.
- Organize and Participate in Events: Help coordinate meetings, workshops, and conferences, ensuring effective outcomes and documentation.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Economics, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in economic development, including project/program design, implementation, and coordination.

Internationally recruited staff: US$ 77,425.50 per year (including all allowances).
