Applications are open for the Eisenhower Global Fellowship Program 2027, a prestigious international leadership program that brings together outstanding professionals from around the world for an intensive experience in the United States. Selected fellows will participate in a nearly six-week immersive program that combines in-person and virtual components. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be individuals with a strong track record of leadership and a clear commitment to making a positive impact in their communities or globally. The program mainly targets mid-career professionals who are already demonstrating influence in their sectors and have the potential to scale their impact further through international exposure and collaboration.

Candidates are expected to show maturity, vision, and the ability to benefit from a global exchange experience. While the program is open to many countries, applicants must either be citizens or long-term residents (at least five years) of eligible countries. Notably, countries such as Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and many others are eligible, meaning African applicants can apply.

The Eisenhower Fellowships Global Fellowship Program is open to applicants from a wide range of countries across all regions of the world. The fellowship operates through a global network, meaning eligibility is based on whether your country is part of their participating nations.

For Africa, eligible countries include (but are not limited to):

Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, and others.

Applicants from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas are also eligible, as the program supports participation from over 100 countries worldwide.

In general, you are eligible if you are a citizen or have lived for at least five years in a country where Eisenhower Fellowships operates or has an active network.
