Additional Information
For the 2026 funding round, the Internet Society Foundation expects to distribute at least USD 3.5 million through approximately 15 grants. Individual grants are expected to range between USD 100,000 and USD 300,000 over a two-year grant period, enabling organizations to build sustainable, long-term impact rather than short-term projects.
Priority in 2026 will be given to organizations that contribute to broader cybersecurity ecosystem building, particularly those based in the Global Majority or those capable of regranting funds to smaller organizations working in those regions. Additional consideration will be given to organizations with experience addressing gender equity issues, including technology-facilitated gender-based violence, where relevant to their proposed work. Applications are assessed based on organizational capacity, governance, demonstrated impact, and alignment with the program’s objectives.
