The Jerzy Giedroyc Fellowship Programme 2024, an initiative to promote collaboration and intellectual stimulation among scholars and researchers working in the humanities and social sciences, is proudly announced by the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna. The fellowship bears the name of the renowned Polish editor and thinker Jerzy Giedroyc, and it represents his unshakable dedication to promoting intercultural understanding and bridging intellectual gaps.

The fellowship program invites doctoral candidates and postdoctoral scholars to conduct research on migration and displacement, literature and culture, interconnected history, migration impact, comparative studies, and the relationship between Central and Eastern Europe.
