Fully Funded : Apply for the Planet Reimagined New Futures Fellowships 2024 ($2,500 Stipend)

The three-month New Futures Fellowship programme is a remote fellowship that emphasises creative and multidisciplinary solutions to the climate emergency. Through research, policy suggestions, and the creation of compelling digital content, this fellowship brings together researchers and activists from around the globe.

Climate + River Delta Communities and Clean Energy + Environmental Justice are the two main themes of their 2024 fellowship. The fellowship period is from May 28, 2024 to September 6, 2024. Fellows will work in groups as policy analysts, researchers, activists, and communicators.

  • The Climate and River Delta Communities fellowship group will conduct research on specific river delta issues with the goal of advocating for policies that involve local communities in preserving rivers’ long-term values, as delta areas are threatened by climate change, environmental pollution, resource extraction, and other challenges.
  • The Clean Energy + Environmental Justice fellowship group will conduct an overview of environmental justice issues in Western U.S. energy communities, such as cumulative health impacts, air quality issues, energy poverty, workforce development, and participation by marginalized populations and tribal governments.

Submit a personal statement of up to 500 words, along with your CV and a professional or academic article. Additionally, support your candidacy with supplementary documents such as samples of creative content and a writing sample intended for a broad audience.
