Fully Funded : Apply for the University Of Pittsburg Heinz Fellowship Program 2024

For students from developing nations who want to pursue a master's degree and show promise as future leaders, the University of Pittsburg Heinz Fellowship grants a $20,000 scholarship.

The Fellow is required to address University members with at least one presentation on to a topic connected to their professional background during their residency.

Information about the University of Pittsburg Heinz Fellowship: Fellows of the University of Pittsburg Heinz Fellowship are expected to submit a final report outlining and assessing the breadth of their experiences and activities throughout the Fellowship, in addition to outlining their plans for returning home.

These reports are then given to representatives of the H.J. Heinz Company Foundation and programme authorities at the University of Pittsburgh.

New Fellowship recipients will also consult these reports for references. The UCIS will award Fellows with a Heinz Programme certificate upon acceptance of their final report.

This is a one- to two-year fellowship. Support is provided in the form of a $1,000 programme and professional activities fund in addition to a $19,200 living stipend that is paid in monthly installments.




Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have been admitted to one of the following master's programmes: Graduate School of Public Health (GSPH), Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA), School of Law, School of Education, or School of Nursing, starting with the academic year for which they are applying for the Heinz Fellowship.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Candidates need to be fluent in writing, speaking, and reading English.
Candidates who are just starting out or in the middle of their careers will be given preference.
Those working in the practitioner and policy areas are the target audience for the fellowship. Basic academic research, academic sabbaticals, and medical research are not eligible for this prize.

Application Procedure
A Fellow in the University of Pittsburgh Heinz Fellowship programme is required to engage in community outreach initiatives and present at least once on their professional background. Grantees must stay for the duration of their award, as per the terms of the agreement between the University and the grantee. After finishing, Fellows are required to turn in a final report summarising their experiences and outlining how they intend to use the Fellowship when they get back to their home nation. Officials from the university and representatives of the H.J. Heinz Company Foundation receive these reports.
