
FULLY FUNDED: Apply for the YALI Regional Leadership Center Southern Africa online cohort 23 for Southern Africans
Applications are now being accepted for the YALI Regional Leadership Center Southern Africa (YALI RLC-SA) Online Cohort 23. This initiative equips young leaders across Africa, aged 18-35, with the essential knowledge, skills, and opportunities to make meaningful contributions to their nations and communities. The program delivers both virtual and in-person training focusing on Business & Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership, Public Management, and tailored sector-specific courses.
The program is open to individuals from the following countries:
Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Applications are particularly encouraged from:
•Individuals based in rural areas or from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
•Women and young leaders living with disabilities.
•People who are HIV positive or living with AIDS.
•Advocates and representatives of LGBTQIA+ rights in the region.
•Members of minority or marginalized groups.
Program Advantages
Participants will engage in an intensive 4-7 week training program (either online or in person) that focuses on topics like Business, Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership, Public Management, Education, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). After completing the training, participants will gain access to a range of resources, including:
•Opportunities for grant funding.
•Networking and collaborative platforms.
•Essential tools and resources to support their growth.

Additional Information
Aspiring leaders must meet the following requirements to qualify:
•Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
•Demonstrate proficiency in English or Portuguese (for the Portuguese-language program).
•Showcase a strong dedication to positively influencing their continent, country, and community.
•Commit to advancing Africa’s development goals.
•Display leadership potential and a keen interest in Public Management, Entrepreneurship, or Civic Leadership.
