Selected scholars will receive a comprehensive support package that enables them to fully participate in the One Young World Summit. This includes full access to the summit sessions as well as participation in exclusive programming organized by the Z Zurich Foundation before and after the summit.

The scholarship also covers hotel accommodation during the summit period, return international airfare, meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner, and transportation between summit venues. Scholars will also take part in leadership development sessions and networking activities with other global changemakers and experts working on social impact initiatives. 

The scholarship is open to young leaders from all countries who are passionate about addressing major global challenges and improving the lives of vulnerable communities. Applicants should normally be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the summit, although exceptional candidates older than 30 may still be considered if they demonstrate strong leadership and significant impact in their work.

Applicants should show clear evidence of commitment to creating positive change in their communities and must be actively working on initiatives aligned with the focus areas of the Z Zurich Foundation. These areas include improving youth mental wellbeing, enabling social equity through education, employment or entrepreneurship opportunities, and helping communities adapt to climate change. Candidates should also be willing to collaborate with other scholarship recipients and participate actively in summit activities and related programming.

The Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship to attend the summit organized by One Young World is open to applicants from all countries worldwide. Young leaders from any nationality can apply as long as they meet the eligibility requirements such as age, leadership potential, and demonstrated impact in areas aligned with the work of the Z Zurich Foundation.
