ABOUT OUR PROGRAMME
By creating a pathway for seniors and recent graduates of historically black colleges and universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Asian American and Pacific Islander Institutions, and Tribal Colleges and Universities, the Generation Next Humanitarian Fellowship Programme seeks to increase the diversity of professionals in the humanitarian sector.

The Generation Next Humanitarian Fellowship Programme aims to foster a workforce that is representative of the diverse U.S. population and capable of responding to global humanitarian emergencies in an equitable and efficient manner by offering mentorship, professional development opportunities, and new career pathways.

Fellows participate in learning activities to enhance knowledge and skills growth, expand professional networks and obtain career development through a robust mentorship program.

Program Benefits

The Fellows will have access to virtual and in-person learning and professional development activities that will centre on competencies that have been identified as critical to a successful career in the humanitarian sector.

Eligibility Criteria

Regardless of field of study or undergraduate degree, recent bachelor's level graduates (no more than two years following graduation) are eligible to apply for the GenNext Fellowship Programme.
Requires graduation from an American Minority-Serving Institution (MSI). For an exhaustive list of MSIs, see HERE.
Need to be able to operate in the United States without needing sponsorship
