The Young Ambassador Programme from UNICEF Aotearoa is all about giving you a platform to increase your influence on the causes that are important to you. both locally and globally.

Our goal is to assist in the development of an approachable and significant means for young people in Aotearoa to advocate for their internationally acknowledged rights.

As part of our global whānau, there will be opportunities to take part in advocacy efforts both domestically and internationally.

Up to eight Young Ambassadors, ages 17 to 24, receive support from us each year so they may become more comfortable standing up for issues that matter to the next generation.

Travelling throughout New Zealand, you will represent your respective communities and cultures and get to know other rangatahi and what important to them most.

You will also receive specialised training and a tonne of help in wider youth involvement as part of the curriculum.

Then, with UNICEF Aotearoa's assistance, you'll be able to bring up the crucial problems with the influential decision-makers.
