Fully Funded : Check out this Barrande fellowship program in Czech Republic and France

The Barrande fellowship programme is an exchange mobility initiative for doctoral students between the Czech Republic and France, which is coordinated by the French Embassy in the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MYES) in the Czech Republic.

It is intended to give doctoral students in the Czech Republic the chance to study in France and to give doctoral students in France the chance to study in the Czech Republic.

Ph.D. students can gain international experience in a variety of subjects, including the humanities, life and natural sciences, engineering, economic and legal sciences, and medicine, because all scientific fields are represented. Applications from all scientific disciplines are invited, but applications from the environmental sciences, energy, mathematics, and information technology are especially encouraged.

The program's objectives are to increase scientific collaboration between French and Czech research teams and to foster international education exchange. With the goal of improving bilateral ties between France and Czechia, it assists students from both countries in expanding their research abroad and learning new skills. "Cotutelles" and short-term research stays are funded by the scheme; the latter is a joint doctoral degree programme conducted at two partner institutions in France and the Czech Republic. For each research stay, the fellowship holder gets a monthly stipend of about 1,500 EUR in France and 3,500 CZK in the Czech Republic.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 28 January 2024.
