For a one-year junior policy research fellowship, the Global Policy Fellow will work with Search's Global Policy and Outreach team. The Global Policy Fellow will carry out research, write, and analyze in order to advance peacebuilding and conflict transformation as useful instruments for dealing with conflict on the part of policymakers.

The priority conflict regions in Afghanistan, the Central African Republic, Myanmar, Nigeria, and the Sahel are just a few of the locations in which the Global Policy Fellow will design and conduct research.

The Global Policy Fellow will be held accountable for producing excellent work on schedule and will be in charge of creating a range of policy research deliverables, such as policy research papers, briefs, and opinion pieces. The Global Policy Fellow will collaborate closely with the Institutional Learning, Country, Regional, and Global Policy and Outreach teams at Search.

Only applicants who plan to start their undergraduate studies between December 2022 and June 2023 are eligible for this post. The most successful applicants will be proficient writers with the ability to function in a hectic office setting. Applicants are invited to apply if they have a strong commitment to evidence-based advocacy and policy writing.

The offered sample serves as an example of policy writing for CVC cover letters, with a maximum length of four pages.
