The Fellowship is a 7-month hybrid program that brings together 24 conservation leaders from the Global South. This initiative provides a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in mentoring, leadership, and practical conservation strategies, while fostering a lasting community of practice. The program aims to boost the capacity of both participants and their organizations in critical areas like fundraising, project design, and impact assessment.

Who Should Apply?
If you work with grassroots civil society organizations in the Global South, focusing on biodiversity conservation and sustainable livelihoods, and face challenges in accessing direct funding for your initiatives, this program is designed for you.

Program Costs
Thanks to the support of generous funders, this program is offered free of charge to all participants. However, fellows will be asked to contribute a small amount towards their travel expenses for the in-person gathering in Kenya in November 2025. This approach ensures that the opportunity remains accessible to everyone.
