Eligibility Criteria

- Be from and currently studying in a low- or middle-income country

- Be enrolled in (or awaiting graduation from) an undergraduate degree with a genomics-related focus, such as:

- Biological Sciences

- Bioinformatics

- Medicine

- Veterinary Science

- Be 18 years or older at the time of application

- Have a strong interest in genomics research

- No English language certificate is required

Eligible Countries

The competition is open to students from low- and middle-income countries, including (but not limited to) countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America such as Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, Nepal, Vietnam, and many more.
